Colvin is foremost an outdoorsman and naturalist with deep roots in the wilderness of the Adirondack Park in upstate NY. He strives to better lives and their relationship to the natural world through mechanical engineering, design and leadership. Colvin is practiced in rapid hardware development in industries spanning hydro turbine design, medical automation, food processing, and agriculture robotics. Most recently, he was a system tech-lead at Monarch Tractor bringing autonomous electric tractors from prototype to 1000+ production.
